Well, didn’t we all have a lovely day on Saturday 13 June for our, increasingly popular (thanks to YOU!) Summer Fair. We raised a massive £2500 which will go straight into the pot to help all our children with educational tools, subsidised trips and, most excitingly, the new adventure playground! If you know anyone who might be able to help us with a grant for the latter, please speak to one of the PTFA members.
The most popular games this year were Hoopla and the Coconut Shy (we lost some balls, such was the enthusiasm – the children have been set the task of finding them in the bushes!). Aunt Sally, held at the close of the fair, was unsurprisingly very popular. Mr Marsh, Mr Crick and even one of the dads got soaked by sponges (from the hook a duck pool!) all in the name of charity. Well done, guys!
What did you like best? What would you like to see next year?
Thank you to everyone who donated cakes/prizes/teddies/cash. Thanks to those who came along – let’s make our annual summer fair the best one in East Kent!
Who’s looking forward to Christmas!?
